Broadcasting from a small farmstead in the Midwest, I think of this space as the culmination of my finest pipe dreams: owning a little cafe, writing a cookbook, growing food, and connecting with folks who value the same (and different)!

My background is in farms + food businesses. Years ago, I blogged gluten-free and even got to write recipes for Martha Stewart. Mostly, I’m focused on my version of personal growth–constantly tweaking and perfecting my chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Plants Always

Vegan. Plant-based. Plant-centric. Herbivore. Frugavore. If you want to eat plants and if you also happen to love plants, you are in the right place. Who doesn’t agree that adding more fruits + vegetables to one’s plate is probably a good thing, meat eater or not!

Nature sustains us and provides gloriously. Growing some of my ingredients adds another dimension to preparing a meal, another layer of appreciation and a dose of extra fresh taste.
